Questions
What people ask before their first session
Opening dates, how sessions work, safety, and memberships. If your question is not here, call or text (270) 670-1723 and Tammy will answer it directly.
When does Elevate You Studio open?
Elevate You Studio is at 928 Happy Valley Road in Glasgow. Call or text (270) 670-1723, or book through the MINDBODY app, and we will get you on the schedule.
What does a cryotherapy session actually feel like?
Cold and dry, not wet or shocking. We use a Subzero machine that directs pressurized CO2 at one area at a time, so the cold is targeted rather than all over. Most people describe it as an intense chill for a few minutes followed by a warm rush through the area afterward.
Do you offer whole body cryotherapy?
No. Elevate You Studio offers localized cryotherapy only. Instead of a chamber, the Subzero machine treats one area at a time, which allows for a more targeted level of cooling and the combination of cold and pressure that whole body chambers cannot provide.
How long does a visit take?
Localized cryotherapy runs about five to ten minutes per area, and a cryo facial takes roughly ten to fifteen minutes. Plan for a little extra time on your first visit for the health screening.
What should I wear?
Dry, loose clothing that gives easy access to the area being treated. Anything damp, including sweaty gym clothes, needs to be swapped out before your session.
How often should I go?
Occasional sessions feel good, but the people who get the most out of cryotherapy come regularly, often two to four times a week during a training block or a flare-up. That is exactly why we offer memberships and multi-session packages.
Will you offer memberships and packages?
Yes. Twelve month memberships start at $99 a month, and every treatment has an initial package price: pain treatment is $199 for 4 sessions, cryo facials are $420 for 8 sessions, and cryoslimming packages start at $280 for 8 sessions. Single sessions are available after your initial package, from $25. Full pricing is on the services page.
Is cryotherapy safe for everyone?
It is not right for every body. Pregnancy, uncontrolled high blood pressure, certain heart and circulatory conditions, cold allergies, and a few other conditions rule it out. We go through a short health screening with you before your first session, and if you have a medical condition, please check with your doctor first. See the Before You Begin section below for the full list of conditions to clear with your healthcare provider.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Booking is the safest way to get the time you want. Book through the MINDBODY app, or call or text (270) 670-1723 and Tammy will schedule you directly.
Who will I be working with?
Tammy Duff, the owner. She runs the studio herself, so you are dealing with the person who is accountable for your experience from your first phone call onward.
